Omaha Flute Workshops

One of my greatest joys as a flutist is serving the Omaha community through flute-specific workshops! You can register for an Omaha flute workshop below.

5th-8th Grade

When: October 11, 2025

Where: First United Methodist Church on Cass St

Cost: $25

Designed for flutists in 5th - 8th grade in the Omaha-area, this Saturday flute workshop will inspire and engage all students enthusiastic about flute! We will build our flute fundamentals, make music in flute ensembles, learn how to practice effectively, and fun flute activities like “Flute Twister!”

Flute Focus

8th-12th Grade

When: February 2026

Where: TBD

Cost: $25

Designed for flutists in 8th-12th grade with 2+ years of playing experience, this engaging two-day workshop focuses on flute fundamentals and music foundations through flute choir and other musical topics like music theory, stage presence, and movement.

Flute Fest

6th-12th Grade

When: Summer 2026

A summer camp like no other where flutists can engage in music-making and artistry through solo, chamber, and large ensemble performances! Taught by Dr. Madison Booth, Amanda Barro, and Kelsie Kitz in Boise, ID and Omaha, NE.

About Omaha Flute Workshops

Omaha Flute Workshops are designed for flute students in the greater Omaha-area to receive professional flute-specific instruction and unique musical opportunities. Workshops are presented and taught by Dr. Madison Booth, professional flutist and founder of the Omaha Flute Institute. Madison has been teaching flute and music for ten years in individual lessons and classroom settings. She holds a Doctor of Music in Flute Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.​​
