Private lessons offer a unique, one-on-one experience for flutists to receive individual and personalized instruction according to their interests. While school music classes like band are amazing and so important, classroom music teachers only have so much time to spend on certain topics, pieces of music, or student concerns - private lessons can meet all of these needs and more.

The Omaha Flute Institute isn't just a private lesson studio, it's a community that invites students to be true to themselves. By enrolling as a studio member, flutists are given opportunities to perform in studio recitals, guest artist masterclasses, chamber ensembles, and flute choirs. Additionally, flutists are invited to participate in exclusive studio retreats that will include flute workshops, masterclasses, and community bonding activities. The Omaha Flute Institute offers a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment for students to build their confidence, creativity, and community. Not only do flutists receive high quality instruction, but they also receive a unique musical experience where they can become their truest selves.

In private lessons, flutists have the opportunity to work with a highly-skilled professional flutist who has made a living through performing and teaching the flute. As a professional, I can offer insights into not only the fundamentals of playing the flute, but also the opportunities that await musicians of all different ages and experience levels. Private lessons can help flutists successfully prepare for additional music opportunities such as solo recitals, NMEA All-State Band, solo competitions, and regional/national honor ensembles.
